Korean is spoken in North and South Korea. There are over 80 million people who speak it. There are also Korean-language communities in China, Japan and the United States, among other places.

Uses of Korean

The Korean market is highly influential. That’s why it’s important to offer products labelled in Korean or services in this language to give the company or brand a friendlier image and to inspire empathy in the Korean-speaking public.

Linguistic quality

If you present a document written in a particular language, you want it to be accurate in terms of grammar, syntax and language use, but you also want it to sound natural and fluent to the reader. So, even if the text is already in the right language, it should be revised (or in our jargon: proofread) to ensure a high-quality result. Texts written in other languages and that need to be translated into Korean should also be reviewed to ensure they meet the linguistic criteria of the target language.

This requires the services of language professionals with the right qualifications: with degrees in translation, or with demonstrable experience... there’s more than one way to do it. For Korean, the best approach is to find professionals who are native speakers of this language.
